William A. Hitchcock

William A. Hitchcock 96, of Ballston Spa, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011. Born in Brooklyn Heights, NY, April 23, 1915, he was the son of the late Herbert and Edith Hitchcock. Bill worked for Merchant’s Dairy and later for Saratoga Tree Nursery for many years, until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Eleanor Hitchcock and Edith Kern, and his brother, Herbert Hitchcock. Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Rose Hitchcock, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday, December 22, at Armer Funeral Home, Inc 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in Ballston Spa Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
