 Armer
Funeral Home, Inc. was started by Robert W Armer on his family farm on Goode
Road in Ballston Spa in the 1950’s. In October of 1967, Robert moved in
to the village at the present location of 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa.
Bob’s sons Robert Thomas and Harry joined him in the business. Tom later
went to work for Burke Funeral Home in Saratoga Springs and Harry ran the business
with his father. Harry’s son Jason has also joined the business, making
three generations of funeral directors. The funeral home continues to be family
owned and operated with Bob, Jason, Harry and his wife Laurie.
